Awesome time with Mormor

It was so wonderful to have my mom visit for 2 weeks! It went by way too fast and we are already looking forward to our next visit. August!

A trip to the Hot Springs was a must! (This is the best shot I could get of the three of us, Rowan did not want to cooperate.)

Mormor and me!

Another try at a picture of the three of us before Mormor got on the plan.

Thanks for coming to visit Mom! Rowan had a great time with you as did Wes and I. Thanks for all your help, too much to list! Love you!

Ignore the nice paper that Rowan is writing on, and check out the pencil grip! What a natural!

Happy Mothers Day

What a special treat to have my mom for a visit! Plus to spend Mothers Day together! We had a great day. We went out for lunch and americanos, went for a walk and basically caught up on some Mother, daughter and granddaughter time!

Growing up too quickly

I heart Rowan!

I use this chair as an example of how much she is growing. She can get in and out of this chair by herself now.

First she walked, now she tries to run. It's kind of like a straight leg running and it's fast! Somedays, it's hard to get a picture of this busy, busy girl!

Animal Lover

Rowan is so gentle and kind to her animals. Although Odin, our golden retriever, tends to knock her over almost daily, I think he is learning to be more and more gentle with her. He doesn't mean to knock her over, and he is never, ever mean to her. Piper is extremely gentle with Rowan. And finally, our cat Grey just lets Rowan do anything to her. They are good buddies!

Rowan holding Grey!

Since Rowan has been around our big dogs, and Nana and Dada's dog since she was born, she is very use to dogs. Of course, my fear is that she will run up to any dog because of this. Well, Rowan has seen other dogs and she is very cautious around them. She keeps her distance, checks them out and maybe after all that, she will give a short soft pat. I'm so relieved and I hope this is what continues forever.
