This post is for Rowan! These are a few Rowanisms that I want to write about before I totally forget that she said these things. Her third birthday is coming up soon. Seriously, how did Rowan grow up so fast?
"Oh - Teh?" (ok?) - She usually says this in a bit of attitude or certainty tone or like she is mimicking her mama or papa when we are asking her to behave.
Making footprints in the summer?
Rowan playing with Jax.
"All by myself" - or as Wes and I say 'ABM'. We hear this one LOTS! Rowan is miss independent and is very determined. When she wants to learn how to do something, she can do amazing things!
All by myself down the hill on my bike! - whoops! Rowan decided to go way too fast down the hill and forgot the slowing down part. She was totally healed within a week! Thankfully she was wearing her helmet and saved her head.
Rowan's newest ABM is swimming. And what a brave girl she is. The water this summer is FREEZING!
"I do it!!!" - Similar to ABM but with a tone like give me some space, don't even think about helping me and let me do it!
Sporting the new helmet and pads from Nana!
"I'm a big girl!" - This one seems to have taken off since Fisher was born, and we encourage it daily! It is so nice to have a big girl around the house to help with you name it.
Big girls ride on their mama's bike!
Big girls share! Especially with their baby cousins!
"For my birthday, I want a pan CAKE. too funny!" - I heard Rowan say this one day and thought it was so clever!
Big girl hiking up Alps Alturas!
"Rowan, what do you want for your Birthday?"
"A poo-du-dor, a cam-mam-ma and a cell phone!" - Wow! This girl doesn't ask for much eh? Now, I can see why Rowan wants a
computer since she's not allowed to touch mama's new computer. I hope she is happy with the vtech one that is coming in the mail for her. A
camera? Well again, she just wants to be like her mama! And now a
cell phone? I think she learnt that one from her cousins.
One thing Rowan loves to do in the summer is relax at the beach.
"That's my daddy, my Papa!!" - Rowan has figured out boy/girl/man/woman and likes to point out how smart she is, and how proud she is, by making statements like this. The other new thing is that she calls me "Mom or Mommy." I guess she's done with Mama for now.
Hiking with Papa!!
Papa helping Rowan build Devils Tower. (The real one is in Wyoming.)
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH ROWAN! Love Mama, MOM and Mommy! xoxo
