I can't believe it's October and I haven't posted pics from the summer! Our weeks and weekends were packed with adventures! Here are some of our favourite memories!

We went to a music festival called StarBelly Jam. Rowan loved it! Here she is in a children's yoga class learning slow breaths with a feather.

The rodeo came to Nakusp! It was pretty cool!

We spent a weekend camping at Mabel Lake in the Okanagan with friends. Everett was so inspired by Rowan on her two wheel bike that he ditched his bike with training wheels, hopped on hers and figured it all out!

For my birthday I choose to kayak with the family to some waterfalls!

This next batch of photos are from our annual road trip with our friends the Mcleans. We were lucky to have the Humphreys join us too! We camped in the alpine above Trout Lake for 3 nights and spent our days hiking, exploring by 4x4 and playing!

It was incredible scenery everywhere we went! Can you spot our campsite from our mini day adventure?

   

She couldn't resist playing in this small creek. About 2 minutes later, all her clothes were off as she continued to skip around the icy cold water!

Hiking with friends is so much fun!

We even took a dip in this alpine lake! Brrrrr....

There were a few (THOUSANDS!!) of horseflies around! It was AWFUL!

We also had a wonderful visit with our friends Erin, Ryan, Everett and Avery.

Rowan is obsessed with mudpies. Here she is teaching Everett exactly how it is done!

In our happy place on the Arrow Lake! We went swimming so much this year!

We spent another fun weekend together with just Everett and Avery! These kids love to be outside!

I had to catch this phone call from Mormor and Morfar singing to Rowan 'Happy Birthday'! She loved it!

After Rowan's birthday party where she received 2 baking aprons, we had to try them out!
