The holidays started with spending lots of time with my girl! We went walking and skiing almost daily! Some days we baked cookies or wrapped presents. Some days we just played! And as my previous post eluded to, some days were all about cuddling to make the teething feel better.
We had a really fun visit from Leaf and Liz. We went skiing twice and Liz showed us how well she has done at training Sophie at skijouring. Both Wes and I got to have a go at Sophie 'pulling' us. It was amazing. It's not like dogsledding where the dog will pull you fast. It is more of teamwork and the dog helps you glide more as you ski. Now, we need to order some harnesses for our pooch team. Can't wait!
This was Rowan's first time walking in the snow. We went out for a ski, but had to just go for a winter walk instead. Not enough snow yet.

Perfect elf hat! Rowan's lastest touque from our Danish buddy Kristin. Apparently this type of hat is what all the cool kids in Denmark wear!

Santa Claus parade! Rowan loved it! Except for the Santa part.

Yum! Whipped Cream! This was part of the tradition of Riz Alamonde! A Danish Classic with a hidden almond. Eileen was the lucky winner this year!

Helping Mama make Ginger Cookies! Yum!

Sophie and Liz showing us skijouring!
Rowan and Leaf! Nice headlamp Rowan!
