The Bowron lakes post is coming, but I had to post this cute picture of Rowan with one of her new baby chicks. It is so much fun to watch Rowan interact with these sweeties. They are two days old. We were suppose to get these babies back in April but the hatchery said they weren't going to do any more heritage breeds anymore. It turns out that they felt bad leaving customers without the chicks they wanted, so everyone on the waiting list got their chicks. They are pretty special birds! They are Buff Orpington, Buff Brahma, Danish Leghorn and Americana.
